Lawrence Dardani
Lawrence practices as a partner of Dardani Studio Legale, appearing before Italian courts and arbitrators, and advising clients over matters relating to all areas of shipping law and international trade law. He regularly appears before judges bringing applications for urgent measures, as arrests of vessels and liens on cargo, and handles litigation abroad, especially in London arbitrations. The main focus of his practice is primarily on English law related matters and disputes, as well as comparative law and international private law issues. Lawrence was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2010, as a member of the Genoa Bar, and was called to the English Bar shortly after. He has extensive expertise in the matter of charterparties, carriage of goods by sea, liability of classification societies, as well as shipbuilding contracts, ship sale and purchase and ship finance. His expertise also expands to matters regarding the international sale of commodities.
