Marco Mastropasqua is an Italian lawyer who was admitted to practice in 2005. He became Partner of Studio legale Garbarino Vergani in 2008 when he was thirty. Marco is a member of the International Propeller Club – Port of Genoa and the Italian MLA (AIDIM). He is a regular contributor to different law publications and author of newsletters on behalf of different P&I Clubs. He experienced Marine Insurance topics abroad. From the very beginning of his working days Marco was involved in investigation of wet shipping incidents as well as regularly instructed in P&I and Hull & Machinery cases. He gained considerable experience in the insolvency procedures relevant to shipping companies and steel market, including cross-border insolvency area. Marco regularly appears before Italian Courts and Arbitrators and advises clients over matters relating to all areas of shipping law. His expertise also expands to off-shore, including property, risk and liability issues relevant to mobile off-shore units as well as their poolable and not-poolable covers.
