Roger B. Ulrich is the Ralph Butterfield Professor of Classics at Dartmouth College. As a Roman archaeologist, he has published books and articles on Roman architecture, most recently as senior editor of the Blackwell Companion to Roman Architecture. His current project is a web-based study of Trajan's Column in Rome.
