Shiro L. Saito was born in Sendai-city. He studied in the Faculty of Engineering, at the Tokyo Denki University. He won a Master of Science and in the 1995 he became Doctor of Science. He worked as a assistant in the School of Physics, at the University of Electro-communications. Then he worked as a lecturer in the Faculty of Liberal arts, at the Chukyo. He was a associate professor in the Faculty of Liberal arts, at the Chukyo University. Since 2008 he is a associate professor in the School of International Liberal Studies, at the Chukyo University.
