PhD in Architectural conservation, major in Restoration at Graduate school in architectural and landscape heritage (Politecnico di Milano). Professor of Urban restoration at Graduate school in architectural and landscape heritage. Director of Master in Architectural conservation. She is author of about 100 publications on the heritage conservation; supervisor and assistant supervisor of many degree and PhD thesis about preservation and re-use of cultural heritage and cultural landscape; she is speaker at many international congress. (Italy, China, Albania, Portugal, Chile, Colombia). Consultant and coordinator of some conservation project: Centraline idroelettriche, Parco Adda Nord; Naviglio Grande, Milano; Quartiere ICP Regina Elena, Milano; Oratorio di San Francesco, Mombello di Limbiate (MI); Castello di Melegnano (MI); Palazzo del Governo, Tirana (Albania). She has been working with Politecnico di Milano in international projects collaborating with organizations as Unesco and World Bank (Albania, Iran, Armenia, Sustainable Cities initiative in Europe and Central Asia, China, Pakistan). Research topics: history and theory of architectural heritage preservation and conservation; conservation of historical heritage (Cataloguing, survey and diagnosis of architectural heritage, conservation of historical monuments, conservation of xx century architecture)¸ historical centers conservation and management; guidelines and management plans to preserve and valorize cultural heritage.
