Antonio Fco. Canales Serrano is Associate Professor of History of Education at the Universidad de La Laguna (Spain). He is a specialist in the history of the Franco regime, with especial attention to education, gender and science. He is the author of books as Las otras derechas (Marcial Pons, Madrid 2006), and co-editor of La larga noche de la educación española (Biblioteca Nueva, Madrid 2015), and Science Policies and Twentieth-Century Dictatorships (Routledge, London 2015). He is member of the Board of the Spanish Society of History of Education and secretary of its journal «Historia y Memoria de la Educación».
