Narges Hashemi was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1983. She received the B.A. degree in Architecture from the Tehran Technical Collage of Dr. Shariaty, Iran, in 2009, and she had collaborations with two private companies and experience of teaching Architectural Courses at University of Applied Science and Technology in Tehran. She obtained Master of Architecture for restoration and enhancement of heritage studies from Polytechnic University of Turin in 2015.
Based on her gained experiences, she also developed her Master thesis on the title of “Photo modeling techniques for reading architectural forms and their decoration The Vank Cathedral in Isfahan, Iran”. And she awarded “Honors Thesis” for the master thesis that evaluated worthy of mention by the Commissions of the architecture at the Politecnico di Torino.
After her Master degree she decided to start her major research interest lies in the areas of: Cultural Heritage Conservation, Digital Documentation and Management of World Heritage Properties. Based on her researches, she published some scientific papers and poster presentation.
