Arturo Tagliacozzo graduated in Physics from the Università degli Studi di Napoli “Federico II” in 1974. From 1982 he’s associated professor at the same University. His scientific interests in the following subjects: Electronic impurity states at metal surfaces (1974-1980), Strongly correlated electron systems, magnetic ordering and superconductivity . Josephson Junctions and Josephson Junction arrays (since 1985 ). Correlation effects in semiconducting quantum dots (since 1993).Electron transport in mesoscopic systems (since 1993). The results are published in over 60 papers in international journals. Referee of various journals (among which Physical Review and Physical Review Letters, Europhysics Journal and Europhysics Letters) and referee of national projects in Condensed Matter.
