As a philosopher, I hold a PhD that I did in a cotutelle between Freie Universität Berlin and Université de Picardie Jules Verne. My thesis bridges the phenomenological and analytical tradition in philosophy insofar as it tackles the question of the epistemic and ethical implications of our bodily engagement in the world by cross–reading the works of Ludwig Wittgenstein and Maurice Merleau–Ponty. My central interests are the question of expession, the anthropology of language, and the nature of subjectivity.
