Daniel Wohlfarth studied theoretical physics, philosophy and computer science at the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern (Germany), Rheinische Friedrich–Wilhelms–Universität Bonn (Germany) and University of Cambridge (UK).
In 2010 he received his degree in theoretical physics (Diplom) from the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern and in 2013, he received PhD in philosophy from the Rheinische Friedrich–Wilhelms–Universität Bonn.
His main research interests are foundations and philosophy of physics and mathematics as well as epistemology.
