Amer Hosin is Professor of Trauma Psychology and Child Psychiatry. He is Senior Consultant and main Adviser of the Emergency and Public Safety Department, Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, United Arab Emirates. He’s trained in both psychology and child psychiatry and is currently a Senior Lecteur in Applied Psychology, London Metropolitan University. He is a consultative board member of the Arab Medical Union in Europe and is on the editoral board of the Arab Medical Union in Europe and is also a member of the British Psychological Society and a fellow of both the American Academy of the Experts in Traumatic Stress and the Institute of Child and Adolescent Mental Health, UK.
