Alexandra Prisacariu is a PhD student at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania. Areas of competence: philology, linguistics, and the history of the Romanian language. Her PhD thesis is entitled Universal History. Buda, 1800. Text edition, philological and linguistic study. She is also a member of a research project entitled Translation Practices of Proper Names in Romanian Pre-modern writings (1780–1830).
