Elena Preatca

Elena Preatca holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures (French–English) and a Master’s Degree in Translation and Terminology earned in 2013 from Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iaşi, Romania. At the moment, she is preparing a PhD thesis about the intercultural communication and the translation of travel guides. Areas of competence: translation of bilingual travel guides (French-Romanian), understanding of the translator’s role and linguistic practices used in terminology.
