Andreea-Giorgiana Marcu is a Ph.D. student at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania. Areas of competence: history of the Romanian language, philosophy of language, translation studies, lexicography. Her Ph.D. thesis is entitled Istoria lui Numa Pompilie, al doilea craiu al Romii (vol. I-II) de Florian, traducere de Alexandru Beldiman (Iaşi, 1820).
