Eugenia Bojoga, PhD in philology; she graduated in Romanian, Russian, Spanish and German; she teaches general linguistics, sociolinguistics and typology of Romance languages at Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj, Romania. She participated in national and international projects, she taught and lectured at universities and held conferences (Prague, Napoli, Vienna, Münster, Berlin, Almeria, Valencia, Chişinău), she published books, articles and studies of sociolinguistics, Romance linguistics, linguistics historiography, teaching Romanian as a foreign language. She is a member of the Société Internationale de Linguistique Romane and of the Scientific Committee of the Linguistische Studien (Berlin) collection.
