Doris Mironescu

Dr. Doris Mironescu is a lecturer in Romanian Literature at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iaşi, Romania and a scientific researcher at the A. Philippide Institute of Romanian Philology – the Iasi Branch of the Romanian Academy. His research interests include Romanian 19th century literature, nationalism, the canon and postcanonicity, (auto)biography, the avantgarde, and postcommunism. He published Life of M. Blecher. Against Biography (2011), and A Century of Memory. Literature and Community Conscience in the Romantic Age (2016). Upcoming: the critical edition of M. Blecher’s Works.
