Ann-Christine Albertsson
Professor Albertsson started out as a lecturer at the Royal Institute of Technology in 1980, and was named acting professor in 1986, a position to which she was officially appointed in 1989. She served as department head of Department of Fibre and Polymer Technology beginning in 1988 until 2005. She has been a visiting professor at Polytechnic University of New York and a visiting scientist at the University of Kyoto; University of Massachusetts, Amherst; and Research Institute for Polymers and Textiles in Japan.
Professor Albertsson has edited seven books, including Long-Term Properties of Polyolefins, Degradability, Renewability, and Recycling: Key Functions for Future Materials (Advances in Polymer Science), and Degradable Alipathic Polyesters (Advances in Polymer Science).
