Stefano Diodati

Stefano Diodati is currently a postdoc fellow in the workgroup of Dr. Silvia Gross. His field of research concerns the synthesis and characterisation of crystalline inorganic nanostructures (ferrites, oxides, sulphides) through wet chemistry methodologies, with a particular focus on low temperature, green methods such as subcritical hydrothermal synthesis.Born in Venice in 1985, Stefano Diodati studied chemistry at the University of Padova, where he obtained both his bachelor (2007; mark: 104/110) and master degree (2009; mark: 104/110). In 2010 he enrolled in the Ph.D. School of Molecular Sciences in Padova, under the supervision of Dr. Silvia Gross, during which he worked at ETH Zürich (CH) in the workgroup of Prof. Dr. Markus Niederberger and at the University of Nova Gorica (SI); achieving his Ph.D. in 2013.He has authored 7 papers in international peer-reviewed ISI journals (1 review, 6 articles) and 2 papers in international peer-reviewed not ISI journals (Surface Science Spectra, Sample of Science Bulletin) and presented his work at 6 conferences (6 oral presentation, 6 poster presentations).
