Federico Papa holds a university degree in Civil engineering, transportation engineering and logistics (2009) and received his PhD in Transportation and logistics engineering in 2013 from the Italian Centre of Excellence on Integrated Logisticsthe (CIELI) of the Università degli Studi di Genova. He has a ten years experience in the railway field with a focus on signaling systems and intelligent asset management solutions. In Hitachi Rail STS he currently has the role of automation value added services manager leading a team focused on big data platform and analytics tools to monitor railway signaling systems.
