Antonio Puente is an American neuropsychologist and academic. He is the president of the American Psychological Association in 2017. He is also a psychology professor at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW) and founded and edited the journal Neuropsychology Review for ten years. He also founded and edited the journal of Interprofessional Education & Practice and is the author of 8 books, 79 book chaptes, as well as 106 journal articles in English, Spanish, and Russian. He also maintains a private practice in neuropsychology, ranging from clinical to forensic assessments.
