Gaia Redaelli (Milano, Italy, 1970) is Architect, graduated at Polytechnic of Milano (1995) after attending a formative period at the University of Seville (Spain), and obtained in 2003 a PhD in Architectural and Urban Design in the same Italian University. She lives and works in Spain where both degrees are recognized. Since 2003 until 2012 and from 2017 she is professor in Faculty of Architecture at Polytechnic of Milano; she took part in several international seminars and conferences, and has been visiting professor in Mexico City (México), Porto (Portugal), Madrid, Seville, Cadiz (Spain), Samarkand (Uzbekistan), Santiago del Chile (Chile), Salvador de Bahia (Brazil), among others. She issued several articles, essays and books, as the one result of PHD about the influence of Landscape in Contemporary Urban Design and Architecture (“The invisibles landscapes”, Maggioli Editori, Milano, 2007). She is visiting professor in different international Masters such as “Rigenerazione urbana e Innovazione sociale” in Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia and Urban Design in Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura Sevilla.
