Marco Russo is Professor of Theoretical Philosophy at University of Salerno (Italy). His works usually join the theoretical analysis with a considerable historical expertise. His main research topics include the birth of the science of man and the concept of world. Areas of competence: Philosophical Anthropology, Epistemology of Human Science, Metaphysics, History of Ideas. Since 2011 is Vice Prasident of Helmuth Plessner Gesellschaft an international network for the promotion of the philosophical anthropology.
