PhD student at the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes of Paris with a co-direction at University of Florence. I obtained the bachelor degree in history at the University of Bologna. After the master’s degree on history at Ecole Normale Supérieure of Paris, with a research thesis about the antifascist movement in the Italian community of Tunisia, now I focus my doctoral research on the nation-building process in that migrant community between 19th and 20th century. My interest is about the interaction and the links between migration, colonialism and the history of social representations. I collaborate with the French academic institution Institut de Recherche sur le Maghreb Contemporain of Tunis
