Michael Jasper

Dr Michael Jasper is an architect, educator and scholar based in Australia. He is Associate Professor of Architecture at the University of Canberra where he directs the Master of Architecture course and the major projects studio and advanced architectural analysis units.
Immediately prior to joining the University, Dr Jasper was a Partner in Cooper Robertson & Partners, a prominent New York architecture and urban design firm. While at Cooper Robertson he directed many of the firms major institutional and urban scale projects. His clients included Yale University, Johns Hopkins, California Institute of Technology, the City of Baltimore Development Corporation, City of Miami, Georgetown University, and Whitney Museum of American Art.
Dr Jasper is broadly engaged with higher education and the architecture profession locally, nationally, and internationally. He sits on Academic Board, University of Canberra, as academic staff representative for the Faculty of Arts and Design. He serves on standing and ad hoc committees in the Architecture program and across the Faculty of Arts and Design. He is an associate member of the Faculty’s Centre for Creative and Cultural Research. He sits on the Royal Australian Institute of Architect's National Education Committee, and is Chair of the Education Committee and Chapter Council Member Institute’s ACT Chapter.
