Evandro Luís Gomes is Professor at the Department of Philosophy of the State University of Maringá, Brasil. He had a Master in Philosophy from the University of São Paulo and PhD in Philosophy from the State University of Campinas. He concentrates his work in logic, philosophy and theory of scientific method, and historiography of philosophy and of science. The emphasis of his research is focused on the history of logic; he investigates both the general history of theories and logical systems; and the historical development of logic in Brazil since the colonial era.
