Marek Prowolik had a degree in Mathematics at University of Śląski (1995) and a degree in Theology at Pontifical Academy of Theology (2000), a master degree in Pastoral Theology at University of Śląski (2003) and he had is PhD in Philosophy at Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University (2008) on Father Bocheński’s formalization of the concept of God as First Cause of action. From 2008 he is lecturer for the Chair of Methodology at the Faculty of Christian Philosophy of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University and, since 2014, he is the head of the Department of Methodology at the same institution. He actively participates, from 2011, to the research project “Artificial Intelligence and Abstract Structure of Being” in cooperation with the Warsaw University of Technology, the Lazarski University and the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw and, since 2013, is a member of the Scientific Committee of the research project “CCFT Working Group – Dialogues between Scientific Culture, Philosophy and Theology”, at the Center for Logic, State University of Campinas, Brazil. His research activity is mainly directed to the basis of Mathematics, the general methodology of Sciences, the methodology of Theological Sciences and Artificial Intelligence. He is Author of several articles published in international peer review journals on those fields.
