António J. Gonçalves de Freitas has a PhD in Litterature at University of Madeira (Portugal), on Humanities and Classic Studies. Currently he is a researche at the Center of Humanistic Studies (CHENUM), University of Minho. He is interested in cross-cultural interactions in the Ancient Mediterranean, including linguistics, mythological and philosophical aspects. The main historic period he is interested in is the called Archaic Period of Greece. His interests are, thus, addressed to Archaic Greek Thought; the role of Mathematics and Logic in the Ancient Thought and Indo-European Linguistics.
