Eleonora Gattoni
Eleonora Gattoni is an Italian psychiatrist at the Department of Translational Medicine, University of Eastern Piedmont, Novara Since 2013 she is member of the Section of Suicidology and Suicide Prevention of the European Psychiatric Association (EPA) (www.suicidologysection.org) and member of the Italian Society of Psychiatry (SIP). Since 2016 she is member of the Italian Society of Psychopathology (SOPSI) and part of the Board of the Italian Society of Psychopathology - Young Group (SOPSI-GG). She is Assistant Editor of the open access journal Suicidology Online (www.suicidology-online.com). She has been involved in research in the field of Suicidology and in the field of psychoses participating in local and multicentre study such as “EUDOR-A Multicentre Research Program - A Naturalistic, European Multi-centre Clinical Study of EDOR Test in adult patients with primary depression” and the “Italian Network for Research on Psychoses”. Her main research interests include management of attempted suicides in Emergency Room, Suicide prevention, Impact of media on the incidence and characteristics of suicides, Migrants and suicide, Anxiety and mood disorders and social cognition, Resilience and rehabilitation in schizophrenia.
