María Rosal Nadales

María Rosal Nadales is Associate Professor of Language and Literature Didactics at University of Córdoba, Department of Language Sciences, Area of Language and Literature Didactics. She has a Degree in Spanish Philology and a Ph. D. in Literature and Art Theory and Comparative Literature from University of Granada. She is Director of Equality at University of Córdoba and Director of the Leonor de Guzmán Women Studies Chair. She teaches the Master of Spanishas a Second Language in the Faculty of Arts and the Master of Inclusive Education and the Degree of Social Education in the Faculty of Education. She is part of AUDEM (University Association of Women Studies). Her lines of investigation are mainly the following: Gender Studies and Education, Children’s Literature, Language and Literature Didactics. She is coordinator of the Research Group HUM060, Didactic approaches to language and literature teaching in the classroom (2010–2018). She has published books such as Con voz propia. Estudio de la poesía escrita por mujeres (Renacimiento, Sevilla 2006); ¿Qué cantan las poetas de ahora? (Arcibel, Sevilla 2007); Poética de la sumisión. Malos tratos y respuesta femenina en la copla (Diputación, Almería 2011), which has received the Carmen de Burgos Award for Feminist research. Among her research works, stand out the following: Poesía y pensamiento en Gloria Fuertes. Más allá de la literatura infantil, en A. Cagnolati (Ed.), Tessere trame, narrare storie. Le donne e la scrittura per l’infanzia (Aracne, Roma 2013, pp. ). She has published in journals as «Revue Romane» (50, 2, 2015 and 47, 1, 2012) «Sociocriticism» (31, 1, 2016 and 25, 1–2, 2010), «Signa» (25, 2016), «Cuadernos hispanoamericanos» (784, 2015 and 723, 2010), «Iberoromania» (82, 2015). Poet, researcher and literary critic, she has given lectures in different Universities in Italy (Venice, Sardinia, Salerno, Foggia), Poland (Kielche, Warsaw), Cuba, Germany (Koblenz Landau, Berlin), Holland (Tilburg), Brazil (Passo Fundo), and Greece (Patras and Athens), as well as at Instituto Cervantes (Utrech, Tetun, Tanger and Madrid). She is corresponding member of the Real Academia de Córdoba and the Academia de Buenas Letras de Granada.
