Director of the Department of Business studies, University of Pavia, 2001-2007 and 2010-2011. From Jan 1st 2012 Director of the Department of Economics and Management, University of Pavia. Referee of several international Journals. External examiner of PhD theses at King’s College, London, at the University of Glasgow and Universidad Autonoma Barcelona. Local coordinator of the European research project on consumer behaviour (COBEREN). Local coordinator of the research project on “Foundation and Development of SMEs Earning Revenue from Abroad” in collaboration with the University of Queensland and the University of Florida.
