Diego Iannuzzi

Prof. Diego Iannuzzi is graduated with laude in Electrical Engineering from the University of Naples, in 1998. He took a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Naples in 2001. He became an Associate Professor in 2003. Since 2004, he has carried out research activity in the Traction Competence Centre of Campania. Since 2005, he has been an Associate Professor in Electrical Drives at the Faculty of Engineering of Naples University. He has worked with the Power electronic Department of Technique University of Eindhoven taking part in the E.U. Programme: Training and mobility of Researchers - access to Large - Scale Facilities project - Train. He has been engaged for the last few years in the following research projects: Murst - National Research program - 1998/2001(supported by the European Community and the Italian Ministry of the University of Scientific Research). Title: Power electronics for industrial application and traction; Murst PRIN 2002 (supported by the Italian Ministry of the University of Scientific Research) Title: Use new Technologies for Air Pollutionless Public city transportation systems based on electrical drives. He is coordinator of the project Power converters for air pollutionless moped supplied by fuel cells, electrochemical batteries, and supercapacitors (promoted by Scientific Research local Authority of Campania Italian Region L.R. N.5 del 28.03.2002. His main fields of interest include electrical machines and power converter modelling, electrical drives and applications of electrical traction drives. He is the author or co-author of more than 60 scientific papers, most of them presented at International and National Conferences.
