Con finalità analoghe ha partecipato ad attività di studio promosse dalla Banca Mondiale, FAO, dalla Commissione Europea, dal Mi nistero degli Esteri e dall'ENCC in Paesi in via di sviluppo e ad economia in transizione (Camerun: ‘Wood and other energy resources in the Garoua region’ - FED-EC; Niger: ‘Forest interventions to fight desertification process’ - EC; Tunisia: ‘Economic analysis of forestry and soil conservation WB projects’; Argentina: ‘Plywood and sawmill in Rio Negro State - Feasibility study for a joint venture’; Croazia: ‘FAO-WB Forest and wood sector industry sectorial study for the agricultural sector review’; Vietnam: ‘FAO Programme country capacity strengthening for NFAP implementation in Vietnam’; Ucraina: Progetto Tempus-Tacis ‘ENARECO’ di assistenza all’University of Forestry and Wood Working Industry di Leopoli; Albania: ‘Technical Assistance to the WB Forestry Project’ - FAO). E’ stato responsabile di un programma umanitario di assistenza internazionale alla ricostruzione della Facoltà Forestale di Saraievo.
