LORENZO CORTESI works at the Center for Religious Studies of the Fondazione Bruno Kessler in Trento. Drawing on his background in classical studies, he primarily investigates the conceptualization of otherness from a historical-philosophical perspective, also observing with interest its digital facets and their impact on the complex scenarios of the contemporary world.
He is the author of the book Rational Consciousness in the Labyrinth of Cultural Plurality (2026).
