Germano Ingenito is a computer scientist and senior researcher with over two decades of experience in applied research and advanced software engineering. He earned his degree in Computer Science from the University of Salerno, where his academic career began with early research on genetic regulatory networks and evolved toward artificial intelligence, decision support systems, cybersecurity, blockchain technologies, and emotional computing. Throughout his career, he has held research positions at the University of Salerno and the University of Benevento, contributing to numerous national research projects in areas including information fusion, smart technologies, semantic systems, biometric security, and optimization models. His work spans both industrial and academic contexts, with significant involvement in projects focused on artificial intelligence, distributed ledger technologies, quantum blockchain, and cyber defense. He has authored scientific publications and developed several software prototypes ranging from emotional learning platforms to security-oriented systems. Ingenito has served as Research Leader and coordinator of multidisciplinary teams, guiding research activities across AI, IoT, blockchain, DSS technologies, and cybersecurity. He is currently a Senior Researcher at CYQOM SRL. From October 2023 to July 2024, he also served as a subject matter expert at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Salerno, teaching Financial Computing and High Frequency Trading technologies. His current research interests focus on artificial cognition, intelligent decision systems, and advanced cybersecurity solutions bridging theoretical models with real-world applications.
