Andreas Anton studied sociology, science of cognition and history at the Albert-Ludwigs University Freiburg in Germany. He is writing his doctoral thesis about Occultism in the GDR at the Institute for Frontier Areas of Psychology and Mental Health (IGPP) in Freiburg. Fields of research: Sociology of Conspiracy Theories, History of Occultism and Parapsychology, social aspects of SETI Research. His publications include Konspiration: Soziologie des Verschwörungsdenkens (Consipration: Sociology of conspirational thinking), coedited with Michal Schetsche and Michael K.Walter.
