Yaling Sun is professor of education at Yunnan Normal University in Kunming, Yunnan, China. She holds a Ph.D in education and has been a supervisor of Ph.d students, counselor of Yunnan Provincial Government, member of Standing Committee of National Curriculum Association, guest professor of Dali University, Yunnan, China. Dr. Sun has been teaching in kindergarten, primary school, middle school, high school as well as university for 40 years. Her research interests cover areas of teacher education, curriculum and instruction, rural education and school counseling. She has published 18 books and more than 30 papers. She had presented at different places on the topics of education so far.
