Stefan is Global Business Leader of Mercer Investments’ Private Markets Group. Prior to joining Mercer, Stefan was Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SCM Strategic Capital Management AG (now part of Mercer’s Investments business). Previously, he was Executive Director and member of the management committee with Morgan Stanley AG in Zurich, and prior to that with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in London, J.P. Morgan in Zurich, and Salomon Brothers Int. in London. Stefan earned a Ph.D. in economics from the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland, holds Master’s degrees in business administration from Chicago Graduate School, USA, and in social sciences from Birmingham Graduate School, UK.
