Dr. Pavlína Cermanová (1977) is a research fellow in the Centre for Medieval Studies at the Charles University and the Czech Academy of Sciences. In her research she focuses mainly on medieval apocalyptic thought, prophetic texts, history of piety, intellectual history and development of heretical movements (primarily Hussites). She currently works on two projects: Cultural Codes and Their Transformations in the Hussite Period (as a team member) and Transmission of Knowledge, The Fortune of Four Bestsellers in Late Medieval Czech Lands (as a principal investigator).
