Jean–Claude Wautrecht is Chef de Clinique at the Department of Vascular Diseases – Hôpital Erasme, Université Libre de Bruxelles, Brussels and he is Professor of the Université Libre de Bruxelles. He is specialized in Cardiology and Vascular Medicine. He has UEMS European Diploma in Angiology and Vascular Medicine. He has been President of the UEMS Angiology and Vascular Medicine Division since 2017 – Executive Board. He is Member of the EBEAVM in Angiology and Vascular Medicine, Member of the Board of VAS-European Independent Foundation in Angiology and Vascular Medicine-Executive Team and Member of the Board of ESVM. His main expertises are Venous Thromboembolism, Vascular acrosyndromes, Intracranial and Extracranial Vascular Ultrasounds.
