Christopher Norman Russell Prentice CMG is the British Ambassador to Italy, formally styled Her Britannic Majesty’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Italian Republic, he took up his appointment in January 2011.
He has been a British diplomat since 1977. From 2007 to 2009 he served as British Ambassador to Iraq and, from 2002 to 2006, as British Ambassador to Jordan.
