Martin Davies
Oxford and Harvard graduate Professor Martin Davies has had academic posts in Nottingham, Perth and Melbourne. He joined the Maritime Law Center of Tulane University Law School in 2000 and is currently Admiralty Law Institute Professor of Maritime Law and Director of the Center. He has been Distinguished Visiting Professor in China, Azerbaijan, Singapore and Italy.
Martin is a prolific author of journals and books, notably ADMIRALTY AND MARITIME LAW: PRACTITIONER’S EDITION (Beard Books, 2005), with Robert Force and A.N. Yiannopoulos. Martin is a Panel Arbitrator, International Center for Dispute Resolution, American Arbitration Association, and a consultant at Norton Rose Fulbright, Australia, Singapore andUSA. Prof Davies serves on the CMI IWG on Cross Border Insolvencies.
